tinyML Talks on December 20, 2021 “Practical TinyML for industrial safety and personnel performance monitoring” by Oleg Puzanov

We held our next tinyML Talks webcast. Oleg Puzanov from Leantegra presented Practical TinyML for industrial safety and personnel performance monitoring on December 20, 2021.

December 20 forum

Leantegra is developing hardware and software for industrial RTLS and safety. Our systems are being installed and operated in underground mines, steel factories, oil&gas companies etc.

This is our story about going from custom coding for MCU-side ML algorithms on RTLS devices to the standard stack based on TensorFlow Lite.

TagML - our customized version of TensorFlow Lite for Leantegra UWB and BLE tags, which are used as wearables or embedded inside the industrial equipment, such as cap lamps for underground miners.

Use cases: personnel safety and performance monitoring based on the motion recognition from IMU data (accelerometer, gyroscope).

Working with embedded systems since 2003 with multiple projects for customers from Israel, USA, Australia, Switzerland, New Zealand, Belgium, Ukraine and CIS. Serious about sports: 6 x Ironman, 10 x Half Ironman, multiple ultra marathons.
